With Weber you can always expect quality and the Spirit E210 is no exception. With this model, you can purchase a 2 burner or a 3 burner. For the purpose of this review, we will be referring to the 2 burner. The size is ideal for small patios, decks and balconies and smaller families. The price is above average for this size grills but you are buying a grill that will last a long time.

Weber introduced the idea of flavorizer bars. They are made of angled, porcelain-enameled metal and are placed over the burner tubes. As drippings come in contact with the bars, they are either vaporized (causing smoke and flavor) or they run off the bars into the grease management system and away from the burners. This helps to prevent flare-ups and keeps the burners from becoming clogged. A nice feature!

The burner tubes are made of stainless-steel with no welds which means they should be long lasting.

British Thermal Units are used as a measure to determine the amount of heat generated by a grill. According to Wikipedia, a four inch wooden match when consumed completely generates 1 BTU. This grill generates 26,500 BTU’s per hour (13,250 per burner). With many grills generating 10,000 BTU’s per hour, this is above average. Many users commented that the grill can get real hot.

Cooking Grate

The cooking grate is 360 square inches with another 90 square inches for the warming rack area. The grate is made with cast iron coated with porcelain. Porcelain makes cleaning up easier.

This grill has two side shelves which can be folded down to make it easier to store. It can be ordered with a black or stainless steel exterior. There are two caster wheels on one side and larger wheels on the other. The caster wheels can be locked. There is a push button electronic igniter to get the grill started.

There is a grease catcher which is assessable from the front, six tool hooks, a thermometer mounted in the lid and a LP fuel gauge.

Liquefied Petroleum Gas is used to fuel the flames in the burners. There is hidden space under the grill where the cylinder is stored. The cylinder is not included in the price of the unit.

Feedback from some purchasers of this grill indicated that it took about 2 hours but the assembly was very easy. After assembly, it is very important to perform a leak test as described in the user guide.

This unit is 63 inches wide, 32 inches deep and 50 inches high. With the side shelves folded down, it is 30 inches wide. It weighs 119 pounds.

It is always a good idea to get a cover for the grill to protect it from the elements. Other accessories include a nylon bristle brush for cleaning which is recommended for porcelain grates and of course, barbeque tools. You will also need some sort of aluminum pan for the grease catcher.

  • High quality materials and construction.
  • High BTU output.
  • Electronic ignition.
  • Small size for small patios, decks or balconies.

  • Smaller cooking area may not be enough for large cookouts.
  • Price may be too much for some buyers.
